Omung Kumar makes a big revelation regarding ‘PM Narendra Modi’ biopic

It’s raining biopics, isn’t it? We already have two biopics lined up on the lives of former PM Manmohan Singh and late Bal Thackeray. Now, Vivek Oberoi is also getting involved with the biopic genre and will be portraying the character of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Bollywood certainly wants to cash in on the larger than life characters and make the most out of it.

Omung Kumar is one director, who is a master when it comes to making biopics. The filmmakers has already made two biopics on the lives of boxer MC Mary Kom and late Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh. Omung took to micro-blogging site Twitter and expressed his feelings.

The biopic on the life of Narendra Modi will not be an easy task. PM Modi has a larger than life persona and his political career has been full of twists and turns. Omung Kumar and Vivek Oberoi have taken a huge challenge and how they deal with this will be very interesting.

PM Narendra Modi is currently seeking a second term as PM. India’s Lok Sabha elections are likely to take place from March onwards. The Indian audience is also tired of propaganda films and Omung Kumar indeed has a huge responsibility on his shoulders.
