Actor Sanjay Dutt has turned a year older today (July 29). On his 63rd birthday, wishes are pouring in on social media from his fans and friends. His wife Maanayata Dutt penned a heartwarming note for him calling him ‘rockstar’. She posted a pic of Sanjay from gym where he could be seen flaunting his biceps.

Maanayata and Sanjay got married in 2008. They have two children, Shahraan and Iqra. In 2020, Sanjay was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Maanayata has always been with him through his tough days.

On the work front, Sanju was recently seen in Shamshera with Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor. The movie got disastrous reviews and failed at the box-office. He wrote a long note for those who slammed the movie.

An excerpt from his note read: “Films are acts of passion – passion to tell a story, to bring to life characters you’ve never met before. Shamshera is one such labour of love to which we gave our all. It’s a movie made up of blood, sweat and tears.”
