Once again! Deepika Padukone to be Ranbir Kapoor’s leading lady?

In the year 2015, ex-lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone put forth a good amount of tamasha for the onlookers in Imtiaz Ali’s film ‘Tamasha.’ Though this film didn’t make it big at the box-office, Ranbir and Deepika’s equation on-screen as well as off-screen was quite a watch for the onlookers. And well, this hasn’t ended here it seems. We have learnt that Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor would once again romance each other in one of the films coming next year. One of the most awaited films in the upcoming year is that of Sanjay Dutt’s biopic helmed by RajKumar Hirani. As we know, Kapoor lad Ranbir has already given his positive nod to be the lead character in the film that is to play the role of Sanju Baba in his biopic. Sanjay Dutt’s life has been a controversial one with twists and turns embracing the actor at every juncture of his life. Controversial love affairs, his addiction to drugs, his connections with the underworld and every other wrongdoing made up his life.  So, to put all of this in one film is really a tough task and Ranbir is willing to do so. But, what about the leading ladies? Sanjay’s first wife Richa Chadda played a very important role in his life, so who would be Richa Sharma in his biopic? If reports are to be believed then it would be none other than Deepika Padukone. Latest reports suggest that the makers are keen to rope in Ranbir’s ex-flame Deepika Padukone to play Sanjay’s wife. Though there is no confirmation on this but, there are chances that DP will once again romance RK in this film.

It seems Ranbir and Deepika have become the directors favourite on-screen pair. But, unlike Ranbir and Deepika’s previous ventures this project would surely a different one as the chapter of Richa Sharma in Sanjay Dutt’s life was indeed a crucial yet an intense one. The shooting of the film is set to begin in mid-2016.
