Oops! Govinda fails to recognise singer Neeti Mohan on a reality show

This is awkward! Apparently, Govinda failed to recognise ‘Tune Maari Entriyaan’ singer Neeti Mohan on the sets ‘The Voice India 2’.

Govinda, who is gearing up for the release of his comeback film ‘Aa Gaya Hero’, is on his toes promoting the film. Hence, he made an appearance on the reality show ‘The Voice India 2’, which is being judged by Neeti Mohan, Shaan and more. So when Govinda made his appearance, Neeti went ahead to speak to him and share how inspiring he has been. But to her disappointment, Govinda did not recognise her.

Confirming the same, a source was quoted saying, “Since the team was running behind schedule, they didn’t get enough time (to brief) Govinda, and started shooting as soon as he arrived. When Neeti went to greet him, it got a little awkward because Govinda didn’t know who she was.”

Finally, then Shaan had to come in and introduce Neeti to Govinda. This would have been such an awkward moment! Neeti has sung quite a few popular songs like ‘Jiya Re’ from ‘Jab Tak Hain Jaan’, ‘Kashmir Tu Kanyakumari Main’ from ‘Chennai Express’ and many more. She is one of the leading singers in Bollywood right now, we wonder how come Govinda did not know her!
