Will Smith is hitting the headlines today after he lost his cool during the 94th Academy Awards ceremony on the presenter Chris Rock and he slapped him for making a joke about Will’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith. Rock made a joke about the hairstyle of Smith’s wife Jada that referenced the movie G.I. Jane in which actress Demi Moore shaved her head. Reportedly, Jada has alopecia, which is a disease that causes hair loss.
Now, Bollywood celebrities like Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor, Sophie Choudry, Shweta Basu Prasad reacted to Will and Chris’s controversy on social media.
Check it out:
Neetu Kapoor wrote on her Instagram story: “And they say women can never control their emotions…”
Varun Dhawan also reacted and said: “Wow, didn’t expect that also @ChrisRock has a chin”
Sophie also took to her Twitter and shared her views on Will Smith smacking Chris and tweeted: “Violence is never the way but cracking jokes about someone’s medical condition should not be acceptable either. This was supposed to be a career high for one of my favourite artists for a superb performance. Instead he’ll be remembered for this crazy incident? #willsmith #Oscars”
