Ouch! Parineeti Chopra is upset and Alia Bhatt is the reason

Parineeti Chopra and Alia Bhatt have always been cordial with each other. In fact, the two also appeared together in one of the seasons of ‘Koffee With Karan’, and were super cool and candy in their chat sessions. However, one cannot ignore the fact that there’s a competition between the two, when it comes to films.

We all know that Alia has been roped in for the third instalment of ‘Aashiqui’, in which she will be romancing Sidharth Malhotra, her real life (alleged) beau. However, according to an entertainment web portal, Parineeti too was keen on doing ‘Aashiqui 3’ and had also spoken to director Mohit Suri about her being a perfect choice for the film as she can sing as well. However, the makers opted for Alia. It is said that this decision of the makers has made Parineeti upset.

This will be Alia’s first film under her father, Mahesh Bhatt’s banner, and it will be for the third time the actress will be romancing Sidharth on the big screen.

Parineeti’s next film will be ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ which hits the screens in May next year, and Alia will next be seen in ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ which will release in March next year.
