‘Padmaavat’ is an official selection at the prestigious Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival

Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Padmaavat’, which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, has been selected at 2018 Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival. Isn’t it great news?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’ was a victim of many controversies due to Karni Sena’s protest and demands. After fighting  controversies, ‘Padmaavat’ got released on January 25, 2018. ‘Padmaavat’ starred Deepika Padukone as the brave Rani Padmavati, Ranveer Singh as the menacing Alauddin Khilji and Shahid Kapoor as the royal Raja Rawal Ratan Singh. Despite controversies,  Padmaavat broke box office records and became the first superhit movie of 2018.

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial has been selected at 2018 Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival. The news was announced on the Twitter handle of Padmaavat. They tweeted, “ Delighted, overwhelmed and incredibly blessed. #Padmaavat has been officially selected at 2018 Taipei Golden Horse FF. @ranveersingh @deepikapadukone @shahidkapoor @aditiraohydari @Viacom18Movies @TSeries.”

This news is indeed amazing for Bhansali and the team as they’ve been selected for such a prestigious film festival. For Deepika and Ranveer, the year is full of celebration! No matter what, this news is surely the icing on the cake for DeepVeer. They have recently revealed their wedding dates on social media handles (Twitter and Instagram) by posting beautifully designed wedding cards. DeepVeer will be getting married on 14^th-15^th  November.
