Yesterday, it was reported that Karni Sena has withdrawn their protests against Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’. Karni Sena’s Mumbai leader Yogendra Singh Katar had stated that they have withdrawn the protest as they feel that the movie glorifies the valour and sacrifice of Rajput. However, looks like Karni Sena Chief doesn’t agree with his Mumbai wing people.
Well, the chief of Karni Sena, Lokendra Singh Kalvi has claimed that there are many fake Karni Sena(s), and his group is the real Karni Sena. “There are many fake Karni Senas emerging in India. At present there are eight such entities operating in the country with vested interests.”
He also stated, “Only one Rajput Karni Sena operating in India and I proudly say that I am the founder of that organisation. Beware of such similarly named organisations functioning and operating in the market.”
National president of Shree Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena, Sukhdev Gogamedi stated, “Whoever saw the film yesterday (Friday), did so on personal basis and the person who wrote the letter (ending the protest) has been expelled.”
So, this means that the protest against the film is still going on. We wonder if the movie will ever get a release in states like Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. (Also Read: Padmaavat: The movie holds very well at the box office on its second Friday)
