For long, the makers of ‘Padmaavat’ are fighting a battle to get a smooth release for the film. Even though the Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor-starrer has hit the screens in most of the states in India, the film is yet to make it to the theatres in states like Rajasthan. The Karni Sena was most violent in Rajasthan and were completely against the film getting released in the state. But now the Rajasthan High Court has given out its review and has stated that the film will bring a feeling of pride to all the citizens of Rajasthan.
In a 13-page-long review, Justice Sandeep Mehta of Rajasthan High Court has stated that in no given way the film is aimed at promoting enmity between any sections of society and in fact, it will bring pride to all the citizens of Rajasthan and Mewar. With this the High Court also squashed the FIR lodged against the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and actress Deepika Padukone.

The High Court has slammed the protesters for behaving in an irresponsible manner and acting violently on half-baked information. A quote from the statement read,
It is manifest that persons with ulterior motives have acted in a totally irresponsible manner on basis of totally half-baked and concocted information, while planning to disrupt the screening of the movie without any justification in total disregard to the Censor Board certification and while defying the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s directions and have thereby deprived the people of this State from viewing a glorious spectacle which gives a deep insight into the proud history of the State of Rajasthan.
