We all know the history Deepika Padukone shares with the Kapoors. Rishi and Neetu Kapoor’s son Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone were in a relationship for a few years. The couple was quite open about their relationship and even made public appearances together on many occasions. Deepika even got Ranbir’s initials tattooed on her nape.
But eventually, the two parted ways. However, they continued to remain good friends. Post their breakup the two even went on to work in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Yeh Jaawaani Hai Deewani’ and Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Tamasha’. Reportedly, Ranbir’s mother Neetu wasn’t fond of Deepika and that was one of the reasons for the couple’s breakup. Interestingly, the ‘Tamasha’ actress did not get her tattoo removed even after their much publicised breakup.
Deepika not only remained good friends with ex Ranbir, but continued her cordial relationship with Ranbir’s parents Neetu and Rishi Kapoor post-breakup. At various Bollywood gatherings, we saw Deepika and Neetu sharing light moments just like good old days.
Looks like, despite parting ways, things are good between Deepika Padukone, and Ranbir, and his family.
