It is that exciting time of the year once again as International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2018 is all set to commence from November 20-28 in Goa the land of sea and surf. The jury that is headed by Filmmaker Rahul Rawail has selected 26 films for the Indian Panorama section. The list includes around six Malayalam, five Bengali and Hindi, four Tamil, two Marathi and one each from Telegu, Ladakhi, Tulu and Jasari languages films.
It is a proud moment for Bollywood as Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’ starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Raazi’ and Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu’s ‘October’ has been selected to be screened at the prestigious festival.

The festival that was started in the year 1952 is one of the significant festivals of Asia that provides a common platform for the cinemas of the world to contribute to not only understanding but also promoting friendship and cooperations among the people of the world. It is jointly conducted by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Directorate of Film Festivals and the Government of Goa.
