PadMan: Akshay Kumar-starrer gets showcased at the University of Oxford

Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘PadMan’ is surely a special film for Indian film industry. For the first time, a movie based on menstrual awareness is made and that too it features a superstar like Akshay.

The movie is co-produced by Akshay’s wife and actress, Twinkle Khanna. She was recently at the Oxford University where she spoke about menstrual awareness and her production venture. Well, ‘PadMan’ was also showcased there which makes it the first Indian film to be screened at University of Oxford.

On his Instagram handle, Akshay posted a video of Twinkle’s speech. The actor posted, “From period taboos to period poverty, @twinklerkhanna takes the conversation on Menstrual hygiene global at Oxford Union, the debating society of #OxfordUniversity! #PadManInOxford.”
