Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘PadMan’ is surely expected to start a discussion in the country regarding menstrual hygiene. It’s the first film starring a superstar which has periods as its basic concept. Just yesterday, I & B Minister, Smriti Irani watched the movie at a special screening in New Delhi. She also participated in a panel discussion on menstrual hygiene post the screening.

Reportedly, even PM Narendra Modi was invited to watch the film. However, it looks like due to his busy schedule PM couldn’t attend the screening.
