After ‘PadMan’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ follows suit… will get widest release in Russia

Recently, we had come across the joyous news of Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘PadMan’ becoming the first Bollywood movie to release in Russia, the same day as its’ India release. Both Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna had posted this news on their social media pages.

Now, another Hindi movie joins the league. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ which had released in December last year, is all set to get the widest and the biggest release in Russia on Feb 15th and that too with Russian voiceover. The production house YRF announced this on their Twitter page by writing, “Скоро наступить мир (Soon there will be peace) #TigerZindaHai to get the widest and the biggest release in Russia (over 70 screens) with Russian voiceover on 15th Feb 2018. #TZHInRussia”

Well, this is another great move in the right direction for the Bollywood film industry. Indian films have already created a lot of right noise in China with films like ‘Dangal’, ‘Sultan’ and now ‘Secret Superstar’. Hope Russia too proves to be a great market for Indian films.
