The trailer of Twinkle Khanna’s debut production venture ‘PadMan’ is receiving a lot of praises. The film is based on the true story of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who invented low cost sanitary napkins. The film stars Twinkle’s husband and actor Akshay Kumar playing the titular role.
Being a debutante (producer) Twinkle is leaving no stone unturned in promoting this film which promotes a cause. Recently, she went and met Maneka Gandhi and Smriti Irani to discuss spreading awareness on menstrual hygiene. She took to her Instagram account to share a picture with them, captioning it, “Discussing spreading awareness about Menstrual hygiene and after meeting @manekagandhibjp and @smritiiraniofficial -two empathetic, fierce and decisive ministers,I’m convinced that the world would be better if just women were running the show.” (Also Check: Post ‘Padman’ trailer success, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna enjoy a dinner date)
