‘Padmavati’: Deepika and Aditi wrap up their work, receive a special gift

‘Padmavati’, the movie has garnered enough curiosity, since its inception. Recently, actress Deepika Padukone, who plays the titlular role in the film, has wrapped up her work on this magnum opus and took to her Instagram account to share this news with a boomerang video that sees her receiving a special gift from the makers.

The actress shared this boomerang video as her Instagram story where a cake (the special gift) is seen with ‘Farewell Ranisa’ written on it. And not only Deepika, her co-star actress Aditi Rao Hydari also shared a picture of a yummy cake on her Instagram account which reads ‘Farewell Mehrunisa’ written on it. She captioned this picture writing, “And it’s a wrap! Many would be aware that Aditi is also playing a pivotal role. Reports suggest that she will be seen as Ranveer Singh’s (Alauddin Khliji’s) wife.

Talking about the film ‘Padmavati’, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, it also stars Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh and is slated to release on December 1, 2017.
