Padmavati: Deepika’s latest poster will leave you confused about the release date

We began the day with a wonderful poster of ‘Padmavati’ featuring none other than the stunning Deepika Padukone. While the poster surely made us more curious for the film, what grabbed our attention was the release date of the film written on it.

So, the new poster has November 30 written on it. We were surely quite happy to see that the film has been preponed and will be releasing a day prior. However, as we contacted the film’s publicist to confirm the same, it was cleared that the new poster is for UAE, and the movie will be hitting out there on November 30, 2017. We are sure fans of Deepika, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in UAE would be quite happy to know this.

‘Padmavati’ has been making right noises with its trailer and song. However, it has been more in news for the controversies it has been facing. While the makers have been maintaining that there’s no scene between Rani Padmavati and Sultan Alauddin Khilji, some political organisations are not ready to agree to it and have been protesting against the film.

Apart from Deepika, Shahid and Ranveer, the film also stars Aditi Rao Hydari and Jim Sarbh.
