Looks like Karni Sena is in no mood to take an justifications from team ‘Padmavati’. Since the beginning, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film is suffering a constant protest. We remember how the shoot of the film was interrupted by Karni Sena while the team was in Rajasthan. Sanjay Leela Bhansali was beaten up and equipment were destroyed. Since then, the controversy around the film has just multiplied ten fold. It has reached to a point wherein theatres are being destroyed.
We stumbled upon a video posted by a news agency wherein we can see members of Karni Sena vandalising a theatre in Kota as the trailer of ‘Padmavati’ was being showcased.

Law and order seems to have gone for a toss here and we really wonder whether the film will be able to make it to the theatres on the declared date if the protest goes on like this. (Also Read: Padmavati: Deepika Padukone thanks IFTDA for their support amidst protests)
‘Padmavati’ narrates the glorious story of Rajput Queen Padmavati who was performed jauhar to save her honour. Rumours had it that in the film there is a dream sequence showcasing romance between Rani Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji, that irked the Karni Sena leading to a protest.
