‘Padmavati’: Shahid Kapoor can’t wait to get back on the sets

Shahid Kapoor was on a vacation with his wife Mira Rajput and daughter Misha Kapoor. On his Instagram account, he was treating us with some amazing pictures from his vacation. The actor is back in town and he can’t wait to start shooting for ‘Padmavati’.

On his Instagram account, Shahid posted a picture of himself, and wrote, “? back to the #moochh can’t wait to get back on set #padmavati.”

Shahid will be seen as Raja Rawal Ratan Singh in ‘Padmavati’ and is paired opposite Deepika Padukone in the film. This is for the first time that Shahid and Deepika have teamed up. It will be interesting to see this fresh jodi on the big screen.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the movie also stars Ranveer Singh who will be seen playing the role of Sultan Alauddin Khilji. The movie is slated to hit the screens on November 17, 2017. ‘Padmavati’ had faced a lot of hurdles in the initial days of the shooting. Sanjay Leela Bhansali was attacked in Jaipur by an activist group as they had thought that the director will be having a romantic song in the film which will feature Ranveer and Deepika. Later, sets of the film were vandalised in Kolhapur. However, now the shooting of the movie is going on smoothly.
