‘Padmavati’: Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone to go solo?

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next ambitious project ‘Padmavati‘ is gearing up to start shooting in the coming month of November. But before filming, this project has already started giving this ace filmmaker sleepless nights. Though it still awaits a confirmation, but actors Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been signed on to play the leads. Handling three A-list actors in one movie is not a cake walk and this proves with this latest report on ‘Padmavati’.

According to a leading daily, Ranveer Singh who plays the part of Sultan Alauddin Khilji doesn’t want to share equal space with Shahid Kapoor in the film’s poster and indeed wants to feature in a solo poster. Looking at this crisis, it has been heard that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has opted to make three solo posters featuring the three leads. So now, we will have magnificent solo posters of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh aka Shahid Kapoor, Rani Padmavati aka Deepika Padukone and Sultan Alauddin Khilji aka Ranveer Singh.

This would be the third time that the trio of Ranveer, Deepika and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali would be working together. But like their previous films, the two stars wouldn’t be cast opposite each other in this one. In fact, according to the history, Deepika’s character hates Ranveer’s character in this film. With this, we are excited for ‘Padmavati’.
