Actress Padmini Kolhapure’s son Priyaank Sharma to debut in ‘Sab Kushal Mangal’

The year 2018 saw many star kids making debut in Bollywood including Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and few others. And the year 2019 has just begun and there is news that one more star kid is going to make his silver screen debut. Veteran actress Padmini Kolhapure and filmmaker Pradeep Sharma’s son, Priyaank Sharma will be making his debut in Bollywood soon.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Priyaank Sharma will make his debut with first-time director Karan Kashyap’s ‘Sab Kushal Mangal’ that rolls next month. Previously Karan has assisted Shaad Ali on ‘Bunty Aur Babli’, Shimit Amin on ‘Chak de! India’ and Mani Ratnam on ‘Raavan’. Produced by Nitin Manmohan’s daughter, Prachi, ‘Sab Kushal Mangal’ also features Akshaye Khanna in a significant role.

Talking to Mumbai Mirror, Padmini said, “I’m excited. The atmosphere at home has always been non-filmi, there was no pressure on Priyaank to become an actor or a filmmaker. The choice is his.” She also shared how during his school days, Priyaank was appreciated by his teachers for his skills in drama.

It is to be noted that Paresh Rawal and Swaroop Sampat’s son, Aditya Rawal will also be making his Bollywood debut soon in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bamfaad’. So this year too we have several star kids foraying into the film world.
