There were reports that CBFC has asked the makers of ‘UnIndian’ to delete the love making scene between Brett Lee and Tannishtha Chatterjee. However, CBFC chief, Pahlaj Nihalani, has cleared that they never asked to delete the scene, but they just want the sequence to be trimmed.
Nihalani in a leading daily has quoted, “The sequence showed the lead pair making love intercut with shots of a guru chanting mantras. But we never asked them to delete it, just to trim it. Instead, Anupam did away with it. That sequence now just has a suggestion of lovemaking and not the act itself. Even the hero’s nude shot has been removed.”
The movie which also stars Supriya Pathak and Gulshan Grover releases on August 19th.
