Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s ‘Padmavati’ is presently being filmed at Goregaon Film City. The day’s work came to a halt as a painter lost his life in an unfortunate accident, while he was working. As per police reports, the man named Mukesh Dakia aged 34 years was a painter and was busy decorating the sets. He fell from a height of 5 ft on his head. Though he was soon rushed to Kokilaben hospital, the doctors declared him dead.

“What took place was extremely unfortunate and completely unforeseen. We are making every effort to help the victim and we grieve the death of the deceased,” said Shobha Sant, CEO of Bhansali Production.
An accidental death report has been registered with the police station and an investigation is going on. If it is found that the makers compromised with required safety measures in any way, the police will be dealing with it “strictly”.
