‘Pakeezah’ actress Geeta Kapoor abandoned by son in Mumbai hospital

A shocking story from the glamorous world of Bollywood has made it to the headlines. ‘Pakeezah’ actress Geeta Kapoor, who is in her late 50’s now, has come out in open to reveal the monstrous side of her children. The old lady was tortured by her son who then left her unattended in the hospital. Following a health scare, Geeta Kapoor was admitted to the hospital by her son Raja, but instead of taking good care of his mother, Raja fled from the hospital as soon as possible, never to return back.

Sharing her misery with Mid-Day, Geeta Kapoor stated, “He used to beat me up as I did not approve of his philandering ways. He would give me food once in four days, and sometimes, even lock me up for several days. I was not ready to go to an old-age home, that’s why, he planned all this. He deliberately kept me hungry and I fell ill. Then, he got me admitted and fled.”

As per reports, hospital authorities made repeated attempts to contact Raja and Pooja (Geeta’s daughter) but to no avail. The doctor who treated her quoted, “Raja got her to us, lying about him being an army officer and she needing urgent treatment. He was asked to pay a deposit and complete the formalities. He left saying he would get money from the nearest ATM, but never returned. We had no option but to start the treatment as she was in a bad shape.”

The matter is now in the hands of police. Let’s see what happens next.
