Pakistani artistes ban in India: Now Sridevi’s ‘Mom’ to face the issues

We all know that Pakistani artistes are banned in India, and a few political parties are against the release of the films starring Pakistani actors. ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Raees’ are under the radar. And now, even Sridevi’s film ‘Mom’ will be facing the issue as it stars two Pakistani actors Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Ali. Apparently, the former plays the actress’ husband, and the latter plays her daughter in the movie.

A source has been quoted in a daily, “After Delhi, we had a two-month schedule in Georgia in May. The remaining portions will most probably be shot in Mumbai but it’s unlikely to happen anytime soon given the current situation. We’re waiting to hear about the final schedule.”

The movie is produced by Sridevi’s hubby, Boney Kapoor, and he confirmed that there’s work left on the film, but refused to reveal the release date.
