Alia Bhatt is absolutely enjoying her life. After enthralling the audience with her performance in ‘Raazi’ and ‘Gully Boy’, the actress recently featured in her first music single – ‘Prada’. For this peppy track, Alia collaborated with ‘Lamberghini’ hitmakers The Doorbeen.
Now, Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat has accused Alia of plagiarism by stating that the ‘Prada’ song bears a striking similarity with Pakistani song ‘Gore Rang Ka Zamana’.
Taking to her verified Twitter handle, Mehwish wrote, “I find this strange. On the one hand, Bollywood vilifies Pakistan at every opportunity they get. On the other, they continue to steal our songs without so much as an acknowledgement. “Copyright violation” and “royalty payments” obviously mean nothing. (sic)”

‘Gore Rang Ka Zamana’ song is from the ‘Vital Signs’ album that came out in 1990. You can check it out below:
Earlier, Mehwish had also taken a dig at Shah Rukh Khan.

Soon, Mehwish was trolled by the Indian netizens. One of them wrote, “We Indians always welcome good stuff. You have some good songs we just make it famous all over the world.”

We wonder what Alia has to say about these accusations now.
