Bollywood films have been going on for ages and one distinct advantage it has over other industries is that we have songs as part of our films. It would not be an exaggeration to say that songs in Hindi films are the heart and soul of the film. Over the years, we have had remarkable and outstanding melodies being part of films and it has only enhanced the level of the film.
Now, singer Palak Muchhal in an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble spoke on a variety of issues. Palak was asked about the controversy regarding the ‘Ek Do Teen’ song from ‘Baaghi 2’ and whether it created a bad blood between her and Shreya Ghosal. Palak is one of the finest singers in the industry currently and she has a marvelous and soothing voice.
Palak Muchhal said, ”Yes! ‘Ek Do Teen’ was sung by Shreyaji and me both. I had sung ‘Mundiya’ as well. Then Shreyaji’s version of ‘Ek Do Teen’ came out and I absolutely loved it. My version of the said song also came out and a lot of confusion happened. After Lataji (Lata Mangeshkar) I totally admire Shreyaji’s work. The whole controversy was not intentional and I am happy that both of our versions were liked.”
