Panghat Song: Janhvi Kapoor sets the stage on fire with her sizzling moves as bride and witch

After teasing the fans with the teaser of its first song, Panghat from the film Roohi, the makers have now dropped the song. Yesterday, Janhvi Kapoor teased the fans with a poster of the song and its tagline read: “Panghat pe hai pawri. Are you ready?” ‘Pawri ho rahi hai’ is the latest trend that is going viral all over social media and the makers joined the bandwagon to promote their song.

In the song, we see Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma are grooms and they are seen carrying garlands on their hands as they are all set to get married. Janhvi is seen in a gorgeous red lehenga and she looks stunning in it as the bride. Also, we see Janhvi as a witch in black attire. She has set the dance floor on fire with her dance moves as a beautiful bride and a gorgeous witch. Panghat, is a party number. It is crooned by Asees Kaur and Divya Kumar. Music is given by Sachin-Jigar and rap is done by Mellow D. The song is written by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

Roohi is about a ghost who abducts brides on the first night of their marriage. The trailer was dropped a few days back. It was initially set to release on March 20, 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Later, it was scheduled to release on April 17, but again it got postponed to June 5 and then to February 17, 2021. Now, the new release date of Roohi is March 11, 2021. It will be now releasing on theatres as 100% occupancy is allowed.

Written by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and Gautam Mehra, it is from the Dinesh Vijan Maddock Films’ horror-comedy franchise. Stree was its first movie from the franchise. It is directed by Kaamyaab fame Hardik Mehta.
