Pankaj Kapur & Dimple Kapadia to star in romantic comedy titled Jab Khuli Kitaab

Veteran actors Pankaj Kapur and Dimple Kapadia are all set to work together in the romantic comedy drama titled ‘Jab Khuli Kitaab’. The film Jab Khuli Kitaab will be directed by actor-filmmaker Saurabh Shukla. The makers of the film made the announcement about the Pankaj Kapur and Dimple Kapadia starrer on Tuesday, December 21. The makers released a motion poster of Jab Khuli Kitaab and gave a glimpse of the upcoming flick. The motion poster also shared a sneak-peek into the characters of Kapur and Kapadia. The duo is seen posing as an aged married couple. The makers shared the first look of the film and gave the audience a glimpse of the romantic comedy drama.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the motion poster of the upcoming film on social media platforms. The tweet mentioned that Pankaj Kapur and Dimple Kapadia will essay principal roles in Jab Khuli Kitaab. As per the report, the film is based on the play of the same name.

As per reports, according to the makers, the film features “an older couple seeking a divorce after 50 years of togetherness.” As per the report, a note from the makers reads, “The film deals with the dysfunctionality of relationships and its impact on family, with dollops of humour and heart. The high energy repartee, and the multi-generational family dynamics at the forefront also makes this the rare Hindi comedy that is both universal and intimate.”

Meanwhile, the film also features Aparshakti Khurana in a key role. It is produced by Applause Entertainment and Shoe Strap Films.
