Without a shadow of doubt, Pankaj Tripathi is one of the most accomplished actors in the country today. He nails every role, and has received a lot of love from critics and audiences alike. Now, Tripathi has added another feather to his cap and will play a pivotal role in Chris Hemsworth starrer ‘Dhaka’.
The movie is a thriller and some portions have already been shot in Indian locations like Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Other than Tripathi, Bollywood actors like Manoj Bajpayee and Randeep Hooda too will be a part of the film.
Recently, we also found out that Tripathi will play an important role in Kabir Khan’s ’83’. He’ll play the role of Man Singh, who was the manager of 1983 World Cup winning Indian team.
“He is one of my favourite directors and we met a couple of times but never got an opportunity to work together. Then one day, he called me to narrate the story of 83 and at certain points, it made me tear up,” he said in an interview with a leading daily.
“I was good at bowling and fielding and I am hoping to brush up my batting skills while prepping for this film. I will also meet Man Singh ji and talk to him about his experiences. For now, I have been given some books and documents to refer to,” he added.
