Actor Paresh Rawal has been roped in to essay the role of PM Narendra Modi in his biopic. It is one of his most ambitious projects, given that Rawal is not just portraying the titular role, but is the producer of the movie as well, and is a great fan of Modi. The shooting for the movie will kickstart in the month of October. Speaking about his admiration for Modi, he says, “He’s a leader, a visionary and the last hope for our country. He works hard and cannot be corrupted. Look at how he transformed Gujarat. He’s made me think about giving back to society. Violence in the name of religion has been going on since before 2014. But that does not mean Modiji supports it. The PM has remained silent because he doesn’t wish to give such matters any prominence.” (Also Read: Twitter India has reacted to Paresh Rawal-Abhijeet-Arundhati Roy row)
He also blames the media for creating hate politics stories. Paresh Rawal himself is a member of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the party ruling at the Centre. On the movie front, the actor will next be seen in ‘Guest Iin London’ which stars Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Kharbanda in lead roles.
