Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha wedding: Couple plans to ditch yellow colour theme for Haldi ceremony, here’s what they are opting for

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha have finally arrived in Udaipur for their big-fat Punjabi wedding. As per reports, their Mehendi ceremony took place. And today, their Haldi ceremony will take place. Parineeti and Raghav and opting for nostalgic theme when it comes to wedding festivities. Reportedly, their Haldi ceremony is taking place today after 12 pm and it will have an unconventional theme. Here’s how!

If reports are to be believed, the Haldi ceremony will commence around 12 pm. Like we have seen in other celebrities wedding, actors have been opting for yellow colour theme for the ceremony. But, Parineeti and Raghav will have a slightly unconventional theme. Instead of yellow, all guests will wear shades of green.

As per recent reports, Parineeti wore a bright-coloured outfit for the Haldi ceremony. It was conducted in a traditional Punjabi style and not a Bollywood way. The function involved Punjabi-style music that included dhols, gidda, and shayaris rather than Bollywood songs.

Post Haldi ceremony, there will be a welcome lunch for the guests and evening will be fun with 90s theme sangeet ceremony. Since Parineeti loves the 90s theme- the clothes, songs and vibe will be accordingly.

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha wedding functions

As per the wedding card that surfaced online, the very first function of the wedding will be Parineeti’s chooda ceremony that will be held at Taj Lake at 10 am. This will be followed by the Baraat at 2 pm. Followed by this will be the Jaimala ceremony at 3:30 pm, pheras at 4 pm and vidaai at 6:30 pm. A reception will be held in the evening at Leela Palace Courtyard at 8:30 pm. Talking about their pre-wedding festivities, it began with an Ardas ceremony in Delhi. That was followed by a musical Sufi night. On the guest list were Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra with her son Siddharth Chopra. Cricketer Harbhajan Singh was also on the guest list as well.
