Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra starrer ‘Jabariya Jodi’ finally gets a release date

After ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’, handsome hunk Sidharth Malhotra and bubbly actress Parineeti Chopra will be coming together once again for debutant director Prashant Singh’s romantic comedy ‘Jabariya Jodi’. The makers of the film had shared its teaser a few months back and today, they have finally unveiled the release date of the film.

Announcing the release date, Parineeti took to Twitter and posted an interesting motion poster of the film. You can check out her post below.

Singh, ‘Jabariya Jodi’ is apparently based on ‘pakadwa vivaah’. The film will see Sidharth playing a Bihari thug, Abhay who abducts grooms and gets them forcefully married. Parineeti’s character is named Babli. The actors started shooting for the film in August and in order to prepare for their role, they even underwent diction training.

Apart from Parineeti and Sidharth, the film also stars Aparshakti Khurana and Neena Gupta. Previously, the film was titled ‘Shotgun Shaadi’. However, it was later changed to ‘Jabariya Jodi’. The film has been shot extensively in Lucknow, Barabanki and Raebareli.

We are looking forward to the film’s trailer release as we are eager to know if Parineeti and Sidharth will able to create magic on the silver screen all over again.
