Parineeti Chopra beats Priyanka Chopra at Box-Office

In the Chopra versus Chopra war it seems like Parineeti Chopra has won this round as Priyanka Chopra’s much hyped movie Zanjeer did not garner the required response from the audience ,whereas Parineeti’s Shuddh Desi Romance picked up by word of mouth.

As per the critics, Shuddh Desi Romance is an honest love story with a desi touch. It is not a typical romcom. It captures the lives of ordinary people who live in the fear of commitment and yet dare to take the leap for love every time. On the other hand critics feel Zanjeer is high on performances but low on content. Apoorva Lakhia’s Zanjeer is said to be a tribute to the Amitabh Bachchan starrer 1973 film. The film has been riding high on promotion circuit but was a dismal failure at the Box Office.
