Parineeti Chopra: Me, Ayushmann Khurrana and Kapil Sharma were enough on his show

The lead actors of ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu‘, Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana, are out and about promoting their forthcoming flick. They were recently seen promoting the movie on ace comedian-actor Kapil Sharma’s famous reality TV show, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. Yesterday, on the occasion of Kapil Sharma’s birthday, Parineeti and Ayushmann sang the song ‘Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi’ from their movie for the birthday boy and also smeared cake on his face. It clearly looked like one happy episode. But, of course the absence of other teammates owing to Kapil’s ugly spat with Sunil Grover raised many questions.

In fact, there were even rumours that Bollywood too would boycott his show, just like many of his team members did, post Sunil Grover’s unfortunate exit from the show. But, Pari and Ayushmann’s happy presence clearly proved it wrong.

So, today, in a media interaction when Parineeti was asked if she missed anybody else on the episode, she quickly replied, “We were enough there, we didn’t need anybody else there. Kapil, me and Ayushmann, we three killed it.”

She further spoke about how it turned out to be a musical episode. Parineeti said, “Kapil himself is a very good singer and so if we find any good singer during promotions, we will be making them sing too. So, we all sang a lot of songs actually. Of course, Ayushmann has so many hit songs to his credit and my sole and only song. Since Kapil is a classical singer himself, so I had told him right in the beginning that instead of being a comedy show, this will be a musical episode and it genuinely became one. I think we sang around 10-15 songs that day.”

Ayushmann too opined with Pari as he said, “We enjoyed a lot. We did not miss anything, but we enjoyed a lot. We promoted our movie, there were good jokes, good audiences, Parineeti sang a beautiful song, then we danced a lot and overall had an amazing time on the show.”

Well, this proves that the absence of Sunil Grover has not really affected the show for our celebs.
