Parineeti Chopra celebrates Amar Singh Chamkila’s success by visiting Siddhivinayak temple; distributes sweets to paps

Parineeti Chopra is currently on cloud nine as she is receiving rave response for her stint in Amar Singh Chamkila. To celebrate the success of her recent release, she visited Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai to seek blessings. She even graciously greeted the paparazzi and distributed sweets.

On the special occasion of Ram Navami, Parineeti seeked blessings at Shree Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. She looked elegant in an all-white attire and flashed her million-dollar smile as she posed. She also distributed ladoos to the paps after the visit. Before getting into the car, she expressed her heartfelt gratitude for all the love on her latest film. She said, “Thank you so much, aap logon ne Chamkila ko bhi bahut pyaar diya hai (You’ve given so much love to Amar Singh Chamkila also),” with folded hands.

Parineeti thanked her hair, makeup, and costume team, who helped her shine in the movie and look her part in a gratitude post. She wrote, “Shoutout to my glam team, for making me Chamkila (shine) as Amarjot, for all the beautiful moments at Gurudwaras, and for capturing Amarjot throughout the film in these stills…”

She also thanked fans for showering love on her. “Curled up in my blanket. Overwhelmed with your words, calls, and movie reviews. (tears are not stopping). “PARINEETI IS BACK.” These words are ringing loud. Hadn’t thought of this. Yes I am back, and not going anywhere!”

About Amar Singh Chamkila

Directed by Imtiaz Ali and starring Diljit Dosanjh in pivotal role, the biographical drama is about Punjab’s most popular singer of the turbulent 80s, who was heralded as the ‘Elvis of Punjab’. However, he was killed at the age of 27 along with his wife Amarjot Singh for singing songs people claimed were vulgar and spoiled society.
