Parineeti Chopra reveals she knew she would marry Raghav Chadha within days of meeting him: I didn’t even know if he was married

Parineeti Chopra has been part of the headlines for the last several weeks and it’s all thanks to her performance in Amar Singh Chamkila. The ‘Ishaqzaade’ actress, during a recent interview, got candid about meeting Raghav Chadha for the first time. She even opened up about when she decided she would marry him. For those who don’t know, Chadha is a politician associated with Aam Aadmi Party.

During a recent interaction with Raj Shamani on his YouTube channel, Parineeti Chopra got candid about her dreamy love story with Raghav Chadha. While talking about her relationship with Raghav, the ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ actress recalled, “We met at an event in London, and usually, I’d just say hi and move on, but this time, I said, ‘Let’s meet for breakfast.’ Including our teams, it was around 8-10 of us, and we met at breakfast the next day.”

The actress continued, “I had no idea who he was and what he did. I literally looked him up after the breakfast. I learned about all the work he’s done, and we realised, not even in weeks, in days, that we would get married.” Pari further added, “I swear, I met Raghav, and within five minutes, I knew I was going to marry this man. I didn’t even know if he was married, had children, how old he was… He just sat at breakfast in front of me, and I’m looking at this man and saying, ‘I think I’m going to marry this man’. It was some God’s voice inside me.”

Parineeti Chopra – Raghav Chadha wedding

Parineeti and Raghav tied the knot on September 24, 2023, at The Leela Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The wedding was attended by her aunt and Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra, Manish Malhotra and Sania Mirza. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Aaditya Thackeray, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and Harbhajan Singh were also in attendance.

Parineeti was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila opposite Diljit Dosanjh. She essayed the role of Amar’s wife Amarjot Kaur in the musical biopic.
