‘Mana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi’ by Parineeti Chopra from her upcoming release ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ is ruling all across the internet. Although this is Parineeti’s first ever break in singing, we already know she is a true-blue singer at heart!
We need not remind you that her darling sister Priyanka Chopra has crooned a number of songs as well, and pulled them off greatly. When she first took up the mic, Parineeti surely knew she would not be able to escape comparisons.
During the trailer launch of ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ at a suburban multiplex in Mumbai, the actress shared how her family took her singing debut. (Also Read: Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana’s birthday wishes for Kapil Sharma are too cute)
“It was a very big thing for me to sing. She (Priyanka) did it first, so I had to do well. It had to be a good song. For my family, it was like ‘chalo good, izzat bacha li’. They were very happy,” she laughed.
How does it feel to listen to herself everywhere?
“I am still getting used to hearing my voice. I keep going back after small intervals to listen to it as it feels very weird to hear your own recorded voice,” Parineeti chuckles!
The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana as the male lead, and will hit the theatres on May 12.
