Sunday evening got much better this time as Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha shared glimpses from their ‘not-so-traditional’ but fun pre-wedding rituals. The couple organised a sports day for their families with fun games from our childhood. It had lemon and spoon race, musical chairs, cricket and three-legged race. But it was the groom who won everyone’s hearts with his one gesture.
Raghav Chadha’s gesture for mother-in-law at pre-wedding ritual with Parineeti Chopra
It was Team Chadhas vs Team Chopras at the pre-wedding activity and it was a competitive one. While both teams gave their best to win, it was the bride’s side that tasted final victory. However, even after losing, Raghav won over everyone with his one gesture. When Chopras emerged as the winners, Raghav forgot about his side losing and rushed to hug Pari’s mother. This gesture of his made everyone around feel warm in their hearts. Losing with grace is one thing, but this is just something way beyond.
Even with the pictures that Raghav shared, the groom accepted defeat but pointed out their eventual victory. He wrote, “While the Chadhas didn’t emerge as winners in these games, we certainly won the hearts of the Chopras, especially Pari’s, who has become the most loved member of our family. Of course, some of us were left with battle scars!”
 Parineeti-Raghav wedding
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha had a dreamy wedding in Udaipur on September 24. The newlyweds chose an ivory theme for the big day. Pari wore a ivory coloured Manish malhotra lehenga while Raghav opted for a cream sherwani. The wedding saw their friends and family in attendance. Some of the guests at the wedding were Manish, Sania Mirza, Harbhajan Singh and his wife Geeta Basra.
Apart from their not-so-traditional rituals, the couple also had the traditional ones. Starting from chooda ceremony to haldi, mehendi and 90s themed sangeet night, it was all a rager. The couple has been slowly sharing glimpses from it all one-by-one. Here’s waiting for some more pictures from them.
