Parineeti Chopra comes out in support of Zomato delivery boy; urges the company to publicly report the truth

Parineeti Chopra has come forward in support of Zomato’s delivery boy. The actress urged the food delivery company to find the truth and report it publicly. For the unversed, a Bengaluru-based influencer Hitesha Chandranee had accused the Zomato delivery guy named Kamaraj of assaulting her. When the delivery boy shared his side of the story, several people have come out in his support. Parineeti also has lent her support to the delivery boy.

The Saina actress not only made a special request to the food delivery company but also offered to help. Read on to know the details.

Making a special appeal to Zomato India, Parineeti took to her Twitter handle and wrote, “Zomato India – PLEASE find and publicly report the truth.. If the gentleman is innocent (and I believe he is), PLEASE help us penalise the woman in question. This is inhuman, shameful and heartbreaking .. Please let me know how I can help.. #ZomatoDeliveryGuy (sic).”

The Girl On The Train actress also took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “FIND THE TRUTHHH!! If this man has been framed for no reason, the woman who did this NEEDS to pay for his pain! F***(sic).”

After the incident that took place a few days ago, Zomato has suspended the delivery boy temporarily and revealed that they are covering his legal expenses and the influencer’s medical expenses. Earlier Zomato released a statement that reads, “We are in constant touch with Hitesha, covering her medical expenses, and helping her with the proceedings. We are also in constant touch with Kamaraj, extending all possible support to make sure both sides of the story come to light and that due process is followed in the spirit of fairness. Right from the get-go, our topmost priority has been to get to the truth. Towards that we are helping both Hitesha and Kamaraj (our delivery partner) with all the support they need while the investigation is pending. We are also assisting the police in whichever way asked.”

Coming back to Parineeti, the actress is gearing up for the release of Saina. She also has Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar lined up.
