Parineeti Chopra rubbishes rumours of opting out of ‘Life In A… Metro’ sequel

Parineeti Chopra, recently appeared in ‘Namaste England’ opposite Arjun Kapoor, but unfortunately, the movie tanked at the box office. There was news that she had refused to do Anurag Basu’s ‘Life In A Metro’ sequel as she is busy with her upcoming movies ‘Jabariya Jodi’ and ‘Kesari’.

Rubbishing all the rumours, Parineeti tweeted and asked everyone not to speculate on anything. She tweeted, “Guys please dont speculate on anything!! I will announce which film I am doing next myself. It is extremely disrespectful and bad PR for the makers of that film. I have not opted out of anything.”

Earlier in August this year, Anurag Basu had said that it was difficult to lock dates of an ensemble cast. His tweet read as, “Casting of an ensemble cast film can only be locked after securing combination dates of all the actors. Bohut mushkil kaam hai, sab ke calendars ek saal ke liye full hain. Aur mein ghode pe sawar hun. Will keep you posted. Final cast will be announced soon.”
