Parineeti Chopra says ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ FAILED because of its clash with ‘Baahubali 2’

Parineeti Chopra, who will be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in Mission Raniganj, opened up the box office failure of Meri Pyaari Bindu.

Parineeti Chopra is one of the popular actors in Bollywood. She made her Bollywood debut with Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl alongside Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma. Post that, she appeared in films like Ishaqzaade, Jabariya Jodi, Saina, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, meri Pyaari Bindu, and Uunchai among others. Now, in a recent interview, Parineeti got candid as she opened up about the failure of Meri Pyaari Bindu.

Speaking to Radio Nasha, Parineeti said that the film was released alongside SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. The actress said, “Meri Pyaari Bindu released alongside Baahubali 2 and hence did not get love then. But that’s the film that I get the most love for today. And that’s what matters. There are many films like this that don’t make the numbers at that time, but they always find you.”

While Prabhas starrer SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion released on 28^th April, Meri Pyaari Bindu released on 12^th May, 2017.

On the other hand, Parineeti will be now seen in Mission Raniganj. The actress is reuniting with Akshay Kumar after Kesari. The Tinu Suresh Desai directorial is slated to release on 6^th October, 2023.
