Parineeti Chopra and Akshay Kumar were last seen together in Kesari. Now, the duo will be seen once again in the upcoming film Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue. Two days ago, Parineeti and Akshay took to their official Instagram handles sharing the official teaser and the poster of the upcoming film.

As Akshay Kumar celebrated his 56th birthday yesterday, Parineeti wished him in the most interesting way.

Parineeti Chopra took to her Instagram handle and dropped a story with co-actor Akshay Kumar from the sets of Mission Raniganj. She dropped a bright pic of the two from the sets and wished him a happy birthday. Along with the story, she wrote, “Happy birthday to the OG entertainer @akshaykumar! (fire emoji) Here’s to another of your unstoppable energy and loads of laughter.”

Parineeti Chopra and Akshay Kumar were last seen together in Kesari

It was in 2019 when Parineeti and Akshay teamed up together for Kesari. Now, Mission Raniganj marks the team up of the two for the second time. The teaser looks nothing short of a grand spectacle. It has successfully set the excitement of the audience to sky-high levels. Mission Raniganj features Akshay Kumar on a mission to rescue miners from an incident that took place in the coal mines in Raniganj in November 1989. During the incident, Jasawant Singh Gill had rescued over 300 coal miners and the film is bringing that heroic tale forward.

The upcoming film Mission Raniganj is a Pooja Entertainment Production. The film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Ajay Kapoor. Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue will hit the theatres on 6 October, 2023.
