Parineeti Chopra trolled for friendzoning PM Modi; does Namaste while replying to his handshake

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been meeting up with your favourite B-Town celebs quite often in the past few weeks. A couple of days back, celebs like Karan Johar, Imtiaz Ali, Madhur Bhandarkar, Rohit Shetty, Kartik Aaryan, Badshah, Parineeti Chopra and many others met up with the PM. One of the many celebs sharing their pictures with Modi on social media was Parineeti. However, she didn’t see a barrage of trolls headed her way.

In the picture shared by Parineeti, you can see PM Modi going in for a handshake with the actress, but she ended up doing a Namaste leaving the PM’s hand stranded. While it’s quite common for everyone to do a Namaste when the Prime Minister of the country is meeting you, but it could have been just a spur-of-the-moment sort of mistake from Pari’s end.

Parineeti would have never thought she would be getting so many trolls headed her way when she posted this picture with PM Modi.

Talking of the event, celebs were ecstatic meeting up with the PM. Many of them were seen clicking pictures with him. Director Imtiaz Ali shared a ‘backfie’ with the Modi, which also featured KJo, Kartik and Dinesh Vijan. When Kartik reposted the picture, Modi had a sassy reply to the same.
