Parineeti got THIS much amount from jiju Nick in joota chhupai ceremony

Priyanka and Nick chose to get hitched at the royal Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur with the blessings of their respected families. Both exchanged vows as per Christian and Hindu rituals on December 1 and 2. From the mehendi, sangeet to the haldi ceremony, all the pre-wedding rituals took place in the presence of their families and friends. Priyanka and Nick treated their fans with the mehendi and sangeet pictures and we must say, it was an amalgamation of both the cultures. Also, there was a joota chhupai rasam that was performed by Parineeti Chopra, Priyanka’s cousin.

As per a report in DNA, Parineeti hid her jiju Nick Jonas’ wedding shoes and she demanded an amount of Rs 5 lakh. Wow! Such a lucky saali (sister-in-law) she is!

Earlier in an interview to Republic TV, Parineeti said, “My preparation is that I am negotiating the deal for the joota chupaing ceremony. And since Nick does not know much about it, we plan to fool around with him.”

Parineeti has been part of the pre-wedding celebrations right from the bachelorette party to the joota chupai. Yesterday, she shared a picture from the sangeet ceremony where she has described it as a celebration of ‘love, happiness, laughs, whistles, cheering and noise’. She also revealed in the post as to who won the competition.

Priyanka and Nick are hosting their first wedding reception tonight in Delhi. They will reportedly also host a reception for the Bollywood fraternity in the second week of December.
