Paris Olympics 2024: Anil Kapoor, Preity Zinta, Taapsee Pannu & others feel proud as Manu Bhaker wins India’s first medal

The Summer Olympics 2024 began recently in Paris and India got its first medal already. On July 28, an athlete Manu Bhaker bagged a medal for India as she won a bronze in shooting. The entire nation is proud of Manu Bhaker and her incredible achievement at the Olympics 2024. With this several Bollywood actors are also proud of her and cheered for her virtually. Stars like Anil Kapoor, Preity Zinta, Taapsee Pannu, Rajkummar Rao, Sonam Kapoor and others took to their social media handle and congratulated Manu.

Here’s how Bollywood celebs wished Manu Bhaker

Rajkumar Rao shared an Insta story and wrote, “Congratulations @bhakermanu. We all are so proud of you.” Preity Zinta shared Manu Bhaker’s photo and wrote, “Congratulations @bhakermanu on winning the first medal for India in #olympics2024 #bronzemedal.”

Anil Kapoor wrote, “Congratulations Manu Bhaker on the incredible first win for India at the Olympics this year. Woohoo… Go India.”

Whereas Taapsee Pannu shared, “Opening our Olympic medal tally account with a bronze! Congratulations to this fantastic shooter.”

Suniel Shetty shared a picture of Manu and backed it with, “First Indian women shooter to win an Olympic medal and she is just 22! Manu Bhaker you have made India proud. India’s first medal, the first of many more.”

At the Paris Olympics, Manu brings home a historic bronze medal in the women’s 10m air pistol event. She became the first Indian woman to win a shooting medal at the Games.
