Mitakshara Kumar on All We Imagine as Light
Heeramandi co-director Mitakshara Kumar recently spoke about Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine as Light competing at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. While talking about fashion being given more importance than film at the film festival, she told Bollywood Bubble, “We should be talking and celebrating Payal Kapadia. Her film is competing for the first time in I don’t know how many years. But rather than talking about her, we are only seeing the silhouettes and costumes that people are wearing.” She added, “I think the prime focus of a film festival should be films. And the biggest example right now is Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine as Light. “
Congratulations, team All We Imagine as Light.
