‘Phillauri’ actor Suraj Sharma all set to make comeback in Bollywood?

Remember Suraj Sharma from ‘Life of Pi’? He also starred in ‘Phillauri’ that had Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles. It has been more than a year Suraj is out of the showbiz and now he is all set to make his comeback in Bollywood. As per a report in Bollywood Life, Suraj has been roped in for Faraz Ansari’s ‘Sabr’ in which he will be seen in the parallel lead. Suraj liked the script and gave a green signal to it.

Revealing the character of Suraj, a source told the portal, “His character will be a driver, who will be a straight ally of the queer lead character.” It also has Shweta Tripathi and Shernaz Patel. ‘Sabr’ will be Shweta and Suraj’s second movie together. Earlier they were seen in an independent movie called ‘Illegal’. The source said that in ‘Sabr’, Suraj and Shweta’s characters will have chemistry in the narrative.

The makers are still looking for the lead character. Interestingly the director also expressed his wish to have Amitabh Bachchan play a cameo in his film. While talking about the cameo Faraz told Bollywood Life, “The character, though in just a few scenes through the film, is perhaps the most unforgettable character of Sabr and someone the audience will take back home with, to remember on rainy days and starry nights, just the way one remembers our first love. Once I have the cast of Sabr locked, I will be approaching Mr. Bachchan. Fingers crossed.”
