‘Photograph’: Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sanya Malhotra starrer gets a new release date

After gaining an overwhelming response at the Berlin Film Festival, the makers of ‘Photograph’ have decided to release the film on 15th March 2019. Starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sanya Malhotra in the lead roles, the makers took to their social media to announce the news.

The makers also shared a new poster along with the release date. Here’s the new poster.

‘Photograph’ was earlier premiered at the Sundance Film Festival along with one of the most prestigious international film festivals – Berlin Film Festival, where it received great reviews and was appreciated by the critics a lot. The film will be the reunion of the director Ritesh Batra and actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui after their successful collaboration in ‘The Lunchbox’. Also, it is Sanya and Nawaz’s first movie together.

The backdrop of the film is set in Dharavi, Mumbai, where Nawaz is essaying the character of photographer and Sanya Malhotra will be seen playing the role of an introvert college girl who tops in her studies.

‘Photograph’ is presented by Amazon Studios in association with The Match Factory and is slated to release in India on 15th March 2019.
