Bollywood’s baba Sanjay Dutt, who was last seen in ‘Bhoomi’, is currently in Lucknow for his next ‘Prasthanam’. The movie also stars Manisha Koirala and is the Hindi remake of 2010 Telugu hit with the same name.
Apart from shooting in the city of Nawabs, the actor also met Uttar Pradesh’s CM Yogi Adityanath. Dutt’s meeting with Yogi had more do with Sampark for Samarthan initiative. This initiative was started to spread a word about PM Modi-led-government’s achievements in the last 4 years. CM Yogi Adityanath himself shared the images of their meeting on his Twitter handle. According to a report in The Pioneer, during their meeting, Sanjay asked Yogi if he has watched his movies or not to which the CM gave a smile. The CM also asked Sanjay Dutt to support the BJP in the upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
Talking about Sanju’s role in ‘Prasthanam’, the actor will be seen portraying the role of a politician while Manisha Koirala is playing the role of his wife. Apart from these two, the movie also features Jackie Shroff and Chunkey Pandey.
